Overview

DBI Sala's Shockwave 2 Lanyard with D-Ring for SRL attachments solves the problem when there are applications where a worker needs to have a lanyard and an SRL simultaneously attached to the back d-ring of the harness. Per OSHA regulation 1926.502 Section d – “snap hooks shall not be engaged to a d-ring to which another snap hook or other connector is attached”. This means that you can’t put both an SRL snap hook and a lanyard snap hook simultaneously into the back d-ring of the harness. However, with this d-ring extension incorporated to the Shockwave2 lanyard, the SRL can be connected to this extension while the lanyard remains attached to the back d-ring of the harness.

  • Expands to 6 ft. and contracts to 4-1/2 ft. in reaction to your movements
  • Reduces trip fall hazards, dragging and snagging for complete freedom of movement
  • Twin-leg 100% tie-off style helps you remain connected at all times
  • Easy to use self locking snap hooks at center and flat steel hooks (2-1/4" opening) at the leg ends
  • Additional d-ring extension attached to the lanyard enabling proper connection to an SRL with the lanyard attached to the harness back d-ring
  • Abrasion resistant tubular webbing for durability and longevity
  • Impact indicator allows user to visually inspect unit for a fall
  • 6 ft. in length
  • Limits arresting forces to 900 lbs. or less
  • Meets OSHA 1910.66, OSHA 1926.502, Capital Safety Gen. Mfg. Req., ANSI A10.32
