The Honeywell Model 705 Combustible Gas Sensor is a fixed gas sensor designed for continuous detection of flammable and combustible gases in hazardous industrial environments. The 705 uses a matched pair of poison-resistant catalytic gas detection elements and provides a standard 3-wire mV bridge output for connection to a compatible gas controller or field transmitter.

Overview

The 705 High Temperature (705 HT) version is particularly suited to applications where gas detection equipment must operate in high-temperature locations. It can operate from -25°C to +150°C, making it suitable for applications such as turbine enclosures, drying ovens, and solvent-based printing and coating equipment. Its stable baseline allows alarm settings as low as 5% LEL.
