Get A QuoteUnlike catalytic bead detectors, the Searchpoint Optima Plus is immune to catalytic poisons and does not rely on moving parts. Its self-compensating optics, dynamic heating control, contaminated-optics warning, and advanced diagnostics help maintain stable operation while reducing routine maintenance requirements. Honeywell also states that more than 100 gas and vapor calibrations are available for different applications.
The detector measures gas concentrations from 0–100% LEL and provides a 4–20 mA autosensing sink/source output. Optional HART® communication and Modbus RS485 integration provide access to gas readings, diagnostics, configuration, event history, calibration and testing functions.
