Overview

This transmitter is designed for reliable, continuous detection of combustible gases in hazardous locations. Housed in an explosion-proof enclosure, it protects electronics and the sensor assembly from ignition sources while the catalytic-bead DrägerSensor® Ex provides proven, fast response to hydrocarbon vapours. With a 3-wire 4–20 mA output and simple wiring, the device plugs into PLCs, DCS, fire panels, or standalone controllers without special interfaces, making it an economical choice for refineries, chemical plants, storage areas and confined spaces.
