The ProScan® 8002 Radar Liquid Level Sensor Transmitter uses 80 GHz radar technology with a PTFE Teflon antenna for precise, reliable liquid level measurement in tanks or sumps. Resistant to foam and vapor, EX ATEX rated, with no moving parts. Offers simple programming, small 2″ dead band, and 4–20 mA loop-powered output.

Overview

ProScan® 8002 is a high-precision 80 GHz radar liquid level sensor transmitter designed for both corrosive and non-corrosive liquids. Its PTFE Teflon antenna ensures accurate measurements by sending and receiving low-energy radar pulses, calculating level via pulse time-of-flight. With no moving parts and minimal 2″ dead band, it is reliable under foam or vapor conditions. Features include simple programming, EX ATEX rating, and 4–20 mA loop-powered output for robust industrial applications.
