Get A QuoteNeedle valves and multiport valves isolate measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, contacts or transmitters from the process in progress. By closing these valves, instruments can be safely dismantled for operations such as recalibration or replacement. The venting option allows pressure to be released from the instrument via the needle valve.
In the standard configuration, the multiport valve is equipped with two additional connections, which can be used either for venting or for adding additional instrumentation. The use of a fixed-tip spindle, which does not rotate, reduces seal wear, thus extending component life, particularly in frequent opening and closing cycles. Finally, the valve's anti-ejection design enhances operating safety, particularly in applications subject to high pressure stresses.
The FCX-AIV series gauge and absolute pressure transmitters can be fitted with a 1-valve manifold, depending on the application and transmitter type.
Manifolds can be supplied mounted on transmitters or separately. If the manifold is mounted on the transmitter, the leak test and calibration operation are carried out on the whole assembly.
