Overview

The *Flexim PIOX R500-C-S4 is the chemical-grade variant of the R500 process refractometer sensor, featuring a fully stainless-steel construction for demanding chemical applications. All wetted components use 316 Ti (1.4571) stainless steel with specialized FFKM gaskets for enhanced chemical resistance. Long and short sensor heads support DIN or ANSI integration, while direct T-flange mounting suits larger pipes and tanks. For pipes up to 3 inches, flow cells are available with welded, threaded, or flanged connections down to 3/8 inch. The sensor is rated ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 and FM Class I Division 1.
