Hygienic Process Refractometer Sensor – PIOX R500 MH is designed for real-time inline concentration measurement in food and beverage applications. Its 316L stainless-steel housing, rounded corners, zero-dead-space design, FFKM gaskets, and patented transmitted-light technology support accurate and hygienic process monitoring.

Overview

The Flexim PIOX R500 MH provides continuous inline concentration measurement for applications such as Brix monitoring in soft and fruit drinks and ascorbic acid concentration control in vitamin C production. Its hygienic construction uses chemical-grade 316L (1.4404) stainless steel, rounded surfaces, protected gasket seats, and tailored FFKM gaskets to minimize dead space. The patented transmitted-light technology delivers measurement accuracy of 0.1%, while integrated self-diagnostics support predictive maintenance. The sensor is also rated ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 and FM Class I Division 1.
