Overview

The Bray Series 5C Switch Box is an explosion-proof Valve Status Monitor designed for VDI/VDE 3845-compliant NAMUR mounting. It offers IP66/67/68 and NEMA 4/4X protection, high-visibility open/closed indication, and up to six mechanical or proximity switches. Communication options include AS-i, Profibus DP, and DeviceNet, while CE, cULus, ATEX, and IECEx certifications support hazardous-area applications. The compact aluminum housing provides corrosion, wear, and impact resistance, with tool-free splined cam adjustment for accurate switch activation. Operating temperature is -25°C to 65°C.
