Overview

The Pyxis SP-300 Series Fluorometer is developed for industrial water treatment and monitoring applications such as cooling towers, boiler systems, and process water analysis. It directly measures fluorescent tracers in liquid samples using an integrated optical system.

A key advantage of the SP-300 is its cuvette-free design, where samples are directly poured into the internal sample cell. This reduces contamination risk, lowers consumable costs, and improves measurement consistency. The device also incorporates color and turbidity compensation algorithms to minimize interference from real-world water conditions, ensuring more accurate readings.

The SP-300 features a rugged, waterproof and drop-resistant housing, making it suitable for field use. It is commonly used for PTSA and other fluorescent tracer measurements depending on the model variant.
