Overview

The Pyxis CR-Series LPR Corrosion Rate Sensor is designed for precise and continuous corrosion monitoring in water-based systems such as cooling towers, process water loops, and domestic water networks. Utilizing the Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) method, the sensor delivers instant corrosion rate measurements in mils per year (MPY), eliminating the delays associated with traditional corrosion coupon testing.

This series includes multiple models such as the CR-200, CR-300, and CR-301, offering flexible configurations for different operational needs. The CR-200 is a battery-powered, Bluetooth-enabled portable sensor, while the CR-300 and CR-301 provide wired outputs including 4–20 mA and RS-485 for seamless integration with control systems.

Engineered with built-in signal conditioning and conductivity compensation, the sensor ensures stable and accurate readings even in varying water qualities. It also incorporates electrochemical noise analysis to detect localized corrosion and pitting, providing a comprehensive corrosion profile. Its durable stainless steel or titanium construction and high protection ratings make it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
